I fell down 6 weeks ago and feared I had seriously injured my back. My family doctor was too far away and too busy to see me. So, right away, I needed to find a new doctor that's a very intimidating task! When I called Dr. Koney's office, they immediately squeezed me in the very same day I called. Her staff works as a team and in 5 minutes, Dr. Koney was carefully checking my general overall health and especially my lower back. She prescribed x-rays and pain killers. I immediately walked across the parking lot to the x-ray lab.(No getting into the car and driving to a far away off-site lab!) Within a few hours, Dr. Koney had the x-ray results and was able to give me the best options on how to mend my very sore back. A week later, I had a follow up visit and all was healing well. Two weeks later, I had a general yearly health examination since I was a new patient and because, as of now, my former doctor hasn't sent my requested records to Dr. Koney.Dr. Koney does not rush you in and out. She patiently wants to know the status of her patients' health. I am sorry I had to find Dr. Koney because of my accident, but I am very grateful to have found her and to have received her excellent, caring service.
